SCETV offers full services as a presenting station to independent producers, including international producers.  Our services are available to small public television stations that may need additional support to maximize distribution of their programs.  SCETV services include content review and editorial guidance, fiscal agent with our Endowment, technical evaluations, broadcast file preparation/delivery, closed captioning, graphic design for digital and print, full color printing, Errors & Omissions Insurance, execution of required contracts, liaison with distributors such as PBS, PBS+, APT, and NETA, carriage reports and station relations with a select group of independent specialists.  Recent SCETV Presents programs include “A Chef’s Life,” “Somewhere South (March 2020),” “Yoga in Practice,” “Anne Morgan’s War,” “Sea Change,” and “Touching the Sound.”

Services Offered: Stand Alone docs and series for national distribution considered (prefer a regional connection, but not required). Content review, technical review, delivery to distributor, basic promotional requirements, distributor paperwork, connection to other Public Television stations to support the program/series for the length of the rights period are all provided. Fees charged based on the amount of material, distributor, and any additional promotional activities. Producer is also responsible for costs associated with E&O insurance, distributor’s transmission fees and captioning. National presentations include Classic Gospel, Burt Wolf Travels & Traditions, Sun Studio Sessions and The Blues Music Awards in addition to the occasional doc.

Services Offered:​ Production Oversight (may include editorial reviews and input, program packaging, tech evals and closed captioning); Station Relations; Audience Engagement; Community Engagement; and a Website (program page and/or enhanced website). A lead-time of at least six months is preferable; producers must show proof-of-concept (a pilot), program/series treatment, and secured underwriting to-date. Programs are reviewed internally for viability and acceptance by a committee that includes representatives from all station departments. WNET will advise on distribution via PBS, PBS Plus and APT.
